class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201cVia Lattea\u201d is an Italian-French ski area comprising seven resorts in Piedmont, located in the Upper Susa Valley (Oulx, Cesana, Claviere, San Sicario, Sauze d\u2019Oulx, and Sestriere) and the Val Chisone (Pragelato), as well as the French resort of Monginevro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The ski area, the largest in northwestern Italy, stretches from an elevation of 1,350 meters above sea level in Cesana to 2,823 meters on Monte Motta and features 72 ski lifts and 211 runs (for a total length of 400 km), some of which hosted the alpine skiing events of the XX Winter Olympic Games in Turin in 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The resort is accessible by train from the Oulx-Cesana-Claviere-Sestriere train station, located on the Rome-Paris international line, and by car via the A32 highway, taking the
